SouthEast Texas Talks

As we move closer to the 2006 Hurricane season I think we need to ask the queston what should we rebuild.  As mush as the human spirit says that we should rebuild I think we need too look at whats best.  Do we need to fight nature or work with it.  Should we build at the waters edge and then cry when we flood.  Should we build on land below sea level?

We really need to take this time and think about out next move…

Well there are just 90 days untill the 2006 Hurricane season.  As I look around SouthEast Texas I like many others realise that we are not ready as we still have not recovered from the 2005 season.

Now is the time that we all need to start the plans for what you will do if another Rita or Katrina hits the area.
